The other day I taped the 1947 film THE UNFAITHFUL off of
Turner Classic Movies, I wanted to catch it mainly because
the description sounded interesting. Imagine my surprise to
find that it was co-written by David Goodis.
It had noirish elements but I don't know if I'd classify it
as film noir. It also dealt with infidelity and
husbands-away-at-war in ways that I don't know if I've seen
in older films. It was a little slow-moving and a little too
long (but that might be because I was tired when I watched
it). Overall I'm glad I saw it, but I wouldn't call it
spectacular.
Has anyone else seen this movie and have any opinions?
