I've read some 20 of these, all that's been translated into
Finnish, and I haven't found a bad one yet. My favorites are
roughly the same as Etienne's but I also liked a lot The
petit homme d'Arkhangelsk, not sure what that's called in
English. It's very noir and a bit similar to The Man Who
Watched The Trains Go By.
I don't remember who recommended here Isaac Babel, but thanks
anyway. I'm now reading his short stories, and I don't think
I've read anything so good for a long time. Including Cormac
McCarthy.
