RARA-AVIS: Edward Dmytryk's The Sniper (1952)

I recently caught this black-and-white noir on one of the movie channels (TMC?). Arthur Franz plays Eddie Miller, the disturbed sniper, in a convincing acting job. Richard Kiley is the police shrink. I liked the cinematography of 1950s San Francisco.
