Moreover, I susect Macdonald wouldn't either.
Back in the '70's, there was a NEWSWEEK cover feature about
modern mystery writers that had Macdonald on the cover.
Twenty years later, the did a similar feature with Leonard on
the cover.
I don't hink Macdonald would have minded. As an admirer of
Macdonald, I certainly didn't.
