Hello Folks-
Thought I'd get the news out there as early as possible. I
have the honor of being asked to moderate this year's
Bouchercon Noir/HB panel, and they let me pick the panelists.
They have all graciously agreed to take part, and out line-up
is set:
Ken Bruen James Sallis
(Rara Avis' own) Vicki Hendricks Bill Cameron
Ken, Jim and Vicki require no introduction to the denizens of
this list. As for Bill, if you haven't taken a gander at his
first novel LOST DOG, you're really missing out.
Of course, it'd be a delight to see and greet any and all
Rara Avians who can make it up to Anchorage for this
thing.
Here's Bouchercon 2007's blurb for the panel:
The New Noir
Authors James Sallis, Vicki Hendricks, Ken Bruen and Bill
Cameron discuss how societal shifts and marketing forces have
stretched and twisted the very definition of what noir
is.
Moderator: Brian Thornton

Here's hoping to see some of you there!
All the Best-
Brian
