Just as an association, the noir writer Charles Williams (no relation) adapted AW's SNAKE WATER as the screenplay for THE PINK JUNGLE, a 1968 romance-adventure B-flick starring James Garner, George Kennedy, and Eva Renzi. I saw THE PINK JUNGLE years ago, but I've never read any of AW's novels.
