wow, Tarkovsky's 1956 student film was released by Criterion?
awesome. His films are remarkable, but my favorites are those
form the 60s, "My Name is Ivan" &
"Andrei Roublev." His sci fi films from the 80s like Solaris
& Stalker are fascinating, if you don't mind the
langourous pacing. I can't imagine what he did with The
Killers, but i hope to check it out. thanks for mentioning
