I finished reading Jim Thompson's classic whacko noir. An
entertaining read. The freakish elements remind me of
Flannery O'Connor and Harry Crews. (FO's first book, I see,
was published in 1952, the year before JT's SAVAGE NIGHT.)
The Black Lizard edition mentions a JT biography soon to be
published. Did it appear in print and has anyone read
it?
