Art doesn't spring into existence on its own. It has to be
created. And since the discussion, to that point, was whether
a particular ARTIST had failed to meet moral obligations, it
seemed reasonable, to me, that, if you were giving art a free
pass morally, then artists must be getting the same free
pass.
That's not equivocation, that's interpretation.
