RARA-AVIS: Paul Feval

Hi. I recently read about,Paul Feval,in,Shadowmen by Jean-Marc and Randy Lofficier.I don't think i've heard of him,before. I was surprised to learn that he wrote the first detective novel,John Devil,in 1862,according to the book. They say his work was noir.Anyone read any,of his books? Thanks. --------------- Jeff Brown
