Deserved sales, but I do wonder about who really reads him...
One time I read a surprising statistic that said that 95% of
books sold in the US are never read. I know for a fact that
many people who own Faulkner's books have never cracked one.
Shakespeare's complete works also show up pristine at yard
sales... In any case, I am glad Cormac McCarthy is making
some money.
