Thanks for bringing up Connelly, miker. Though I enjoy the
standalones, I usually don't like them as much as the Bosch
books, but that was not the case with The Lincoln Lawyer,
which I think stands right up there with the best of the
Bosch books.
I raced through ECHO PARK over the past few days and loved
every minute of it, including the shout out a couple friends
of Rara Avis.
I also hope Avians who enjoy Connelly are reading THE
OVERLOOK, the novella-length Bosch story that is being
serialized in the New York Times this fall. The action takes
place after the end of ECHO PARK, but the serialization began
before the release of the novel, but it all makes sense so
far.
