Hi, Jack, I agree that it was atmospheric, and I enjoyed the
first two-thirds, but many of the motivations seemed weak,
and toward the end so much didn't make sense, that I thought
the cutting must have gotten out of hand. THE QUESTIONS
FOLLOWING ARE SPOILERS. I admit that sometimes I focus too
much on the visuals and miss important details, so if these
things are obvious, and I just need to see the film again,
then tell me that. Otherwise, can you explain any of this?
Why did Bucky just start shooting people instead of arresting
them? Were we told anything at all about a bank robbery
before the money turns up and that whole story about Lee
comes out? Why was Lee's body just burned up at the building
and not reported until later? I couldn't understand that line
of explanation. Why was the clown face painted on the wall of
the porn movie set? I mean, I know it was there so we can see
how Bucky connects the family, but is there any logical
reason? Why did the mother go to the trouble to disembowel
the body? Was it just a coincidence that they placed the body
on the street right near where the shootout was taking place?
I know this must be my lapse for sure, but what happened to
the gardener? Some of the characters were shown so briefly
that I couldn't recognize them. Did Bucky just leave Madeline
at home with her dead mother and father, and then look for
her the next night to shoot her? Vicki
