Just finished this.
A little shy on the characters but a great story. Sharp and
effective prose. I realized in this book how much I dislike
the undependable narrator. The last one I read by him,
Scorpion Reef, played that way, and the whole way through
Sailcloth I was sceptical of the story. Suspension of
disbelief is important, and I found it hard to give it that.
Fiction is good, but fiction inside of fiction is more than I
care for.
