Kerry Wrote--
My difficulty results partially from the multiple definitions
of "literary"...
************ Miker says,
Harold Bloom says it gets the Big L by passing the test of
time. If it lasts, it's Literature.
************
I don't always agree with Harold Bloom. In fact, I think that
sometimes he is full of crap, but I do agree with his
definition of literature. It's one that I've mentioned myself
now and then.
My problem is something like Kerry's though, if we use the
dictionary definitions, a lot that is
"literary" is crap as well.
