That was a too-sweeping statement I made
about nobody else reaching the same artistic eyrie as Millar
and Rendell etc. I didn't mean to slight anybody. I believe
that this is the true golden age of crime fiction...there are
so many fine writers I can't keep up with them all. And
certainly Jim sallis is among them.
