You're right. The book's a paperback original from 1964. The
funny thing is, I've had my copy of the book ever since then
-- I bought mine new -- and it never dawned on me that it was
a paperback original until you mentioned it. And from your
dandy description, it also occurs to me that maybe it's time
for me to sit down and actually read it.
