Good news that Hard Case is going to reissue a David Goodis
novel next year. I know that Serpent's Tail is continuing
their reissues with Black Friday this summer.
As far as the copyright holder of Goodis, I thought it was
common knowledge that Provident National Bank in Philadelphia
held the copyrights and that they were quite accessible. But
then again I lived in Philadelphia many years where he was
better known. I don't if all that's still true, but it seems
to me that for a while there they were licensing everything
and anything with Goodis' name on it, some of which I suspect
was no longer under copyright.
