Turns out that is indeed the case. I pulled out my copy of
Fresh Blood and read Raymond's executor, John Williams's
intro to the first chapter of Nightmare in the Street. Seems
the original English manuscript was lost and the finished
book was cobbled together from two partial mauscripts. Since
we've got John here, I was wondering if you could confirm my
impression (or has a full copy come to light in the
intervening decade?) and tell us how that worked. For
instance, did new material have to be inserted to graft the
parts together?
Oh, also, is Nightmare scheduled for US release or should I
just order a UK copy when it comes out?
