writes about crime and crime fiction. It doesn't seem to be
online, but if you've got the paper, you might want to take a
look. He talks about three novels--Donald Westlake's Kahawa,
Jim Thompson's The Getaway and Truman Capote's In Cold
Blood--then asks: Have novelists, screenwriters and directors
excessively glorified and glamorized crime?
