Fisher was one of the lucky few pulp writers who had good
long run in Hwood, first with several A picturee and then
with many more Bs. He ended up writing some of the frothier
but most entertaining of the McLouds on TV. All this time he
kept writing novels. Screaming is probably his best. You may
know this already, but the cop in Screaming is based on
Cornell Woolrich. I wonder what Woolrich made of that.
