Jeff Millar reviewed movies for the Houston Chronicle for
many years. He probably made enough dough off "Tank McNamara"
to retire early. He and his wife used to show up fairly often
as characters in the comic strip, and in fact they were in
there not too long ago. I don't know if they're named, but
the resemblance doesn't leave much doubt. Besides writing
PRIVATE SECTOR, he was involved in some way or another with
DEAD AND BURIED, a movie that was "novelized" by Chelsea
Quinn Yarbro. Maybe he did the screenplay or the original
treatment.
