Hi All,
I've been too busy to participate in discussions here lately,
but not too busy to read. For a while, I've been wanting to
read Grey's novel (which, for those who don't know, was the
basis for Sergio Leone's phenomenal Once Upon a Time in
America). The original paperback version is pricey but there
is also a hardback reprint from Buccaneer Books--also a bit
pricey but more importantly I don't know anything about the
publisher & didn't want to buy a POD copy. Does anyone
know about the quality of this reprint? There is also a
recent British paperback called Once Upon a Time in America
that lists Harry Grey as the author. This is the most
affordable but I wasn't sure if it was a reprint of the novel
or the script for the movie (it's published by Bloomsbury
Publishing & their Web site claims it is inspired by the
movie, whatever that means). Can anyone tell me if this
Bloomsbury Publishing edition is the full text of the
novel?
Thanks for any & all assistance.
Max
