By the way, I finished The Last Days of Il Duce last night. A
great story, well told. The pacing really amped up the
tension as Nick spun between embracing and avoiding his fate.
Of course, his attempts to sidestep that fate probably would
have led to the exact same place by a different path. It's
clear that you practice what you preach in the Noir
Manifesto. I'll definitely be reading more of your
books.
