Overall, no. But in the truly mean streets of any big
American city there are still witnesses intimidated or even
murdered by thugs, drug dealers on multiple corners, and
street hookers and hit and run robbers looking for their next
fix. Getting away from the meaner street is the dark intrigue
involving business and politics.
