RARA-AVIS: On-screen REAR WINDOW credit to Woolrich or Irish?

I was reading a review of Cornell Woolrich's REAR WINDOW, which mentions the screen credit to Woolrich in Hitchcock's film.

Was the screen credit to Woolrich or to William Irish?

IMDB.com credits Woolrich, but that doesn't necessarily mean the film did so.

Anyone know?
