I was just struck by a curious notion. Has anyone tried
writing a HB story from the point of view of the Femme
Fatale? Or perhaps better asked, Who has written HB from the
POV of the femme fatale.
************* Turned out to be an excellent question. Bottom
line answer was that practically zip has been written from
the femme fatale point of view. The truly bad girl that
triumphs appears to not make a good protagonist. The closest
I can make is Hendricks's IGUANA LOVE. Although she puts it
to the guy in a grand way in the end, it is revealed that
there is a lot more strife in the life of this femme fatale
as what might earlier been imagined.
Great question!
