There was a comment by an old lady in one of Hunter's novels,
POINT OF IMPACT I think, where she says that something that
happened was tragedy, not melodrama. She differentiates
between the two by saying that the protagonist's downfall in
a tragedy is caused by his virtues. Is that right? I've never
heard it put that way before.
