I posted the Washington Post obit early in the morning of a
busy day and frankly have not had a chance to read it
closely. But Brandstetter did not have the same lover for 22
years, unless I completely misremember it. I am reading
OBEDIENCE (1988)and I don't think he was with this TV
reporter for the entire run.
