Well, I've read Black Dahlia in Finnish and some of L.A.
Confidential and one short story in English. I think the
translation was OK, considering. I've heard the man (Juha
Ahokas) has been getting better as the series goes on. He's a
good translator, who has also done Edward Bunker in Finnish.
His Ellroy is just as edgy as Ellroy is in English.
