I don't know, but we'd all rather talk about Russell James
himself than cozy writers. And in fact we have. A few snide
remarks about cozy writers and cats and recipe mysteries have
been made on the list, but I'm sure a number of people here
read them and enjoy them. Agatha Christie was one of the
first mystery writers I read. Their existence is pretty much
beside the point, though, since we're here to talk about the
tough stuff. Comparing and contrasting the two schisms is one
thing, but just sneering is pointless.
