If your idea of a Friday night double feature is FAREWELL, MY
LOVELY followed by DAWN OF THE DEAD, you'll love the Cal
McDonald stories.
I think they're hilarious and vicious, but a warning: the
stories are full of ghouls, vampires and werewolves. If you
don't mind your fedoras mixing with your Frankenstein
monsters, you'll be fine.
McDonald comes into flavors: short prose novels, SAVAGE
MEMBRANE and GUNS,
DRUGS AND MONSTERS, as well as the prose
collection DIAL "M" FOR MONSTER.
Then there is the recent comic book series,
CRIMINAL MACABRE. I recommend them all.
