novels
> Anybody know good, unknown World War II books? In
the hardboiled frame of
mind... gold medal, dirty dozen, action adventure, you know
the drill. There's been talk of SF noir and hardboiled
westerns, but war fiction should have something comparable as
well.
Lou Cameron wrote several World War II novels for Gold Medal.
I can't get to the books right now, but I recall titles like
THE BASTARD'S NAME IS WAR, THE EMPTY QUARTER, and JUMP INTO
HELL. Been years since I read them, but I recall enjoying
them.
