I've heard this but I don't think it's true. CONTRABAND
appeared just a few months after Adams died. At the time of
his death, CONTRABAND was already being announced as an
upcoming release in some of the trade magazine obits.
THE VICE CZAR MURDERS, NO WINGS ON A COP, and the last Rex
McBride novel, SHADY LADY, all of which were completed by
Bellem, all appeared years later.
