********** I'm the same way with Faulkner. When I first read
SANCTUARY I kinda shrugged my shoulders, but scenes and
characters in the book haunt my memory in a very satisfying
way. Some books I have a hard time recalling a month after I
read them. Brackett's NO GOOD FROM A CORPSE is already
slipping away. I count that a blessing.
