May I recommend to all two books by Hugh Rawson: THE
DICTIONARY OF EUPHEMISMS, or how to avoid saying what you
mean, and WICKED WORDS, how to say it.
Incidentally, "cunt" is not a euphemism, but is a very old
word, and is in fact the proper English word for - will, you
know what for. On another note, the English word for the
backside is "arse". "Ass" is a very, very old euphemism, now
widely considered filthier than the word it replaced.
