I read Hjortsberg's FALLING ANGEL when it was relatively new
and remember thinking it was pretty well written. But the
so-called surprise ending was telegraphed so blatantly and so
early on I thought it had to be a red herring ... but it
wasn't. The book certainly didn't make the same impression on
me that it did on Nancy Pearl.
I sure like that title BOOK LUST, though.
