Speaking of "unfilmed, but should be," Ellroy's best novel,
_The Black Dahlia_ is now in production with Donnie Wahlberg
starring. For those of you who think of him as a boy band
refugee, you must have missed him in
_Boomtown_, that great NBC series about LA cops. The guy
might have been one of the New Kids on the Block, but he's
all grown up, and if the production itself is any good, I
think Wahlberg will do a great job as one of the lead
cops.
