easy to distinguish if one had read it before. JDM used the
example of someone hurrying to catch a plane, spotting a book
rack, seeing MacDonald's books, and quickly able to determine
if he had read the book before. Nothing more. Nothing
less.
(It is just a coincidence that JDM used a color in a title--A
Flash of Green--prior to the McGee series.)
