RARA-AVIS: Edward S. Aarons

I've found the Sam Durrell novels pretty uneven. Some of them I liked a lot; others left me cold. One thing Aarons never failed at, though, was local color. He had a way with description, and he could make me believe he'd visited very spot he wrote about.
