I mourn the sudden death, at the age of 64, of the great Spanish writer, journalist, essayist, poet and cook Manolo Vằuez Montalbᮮ He was the author of 20 books in the Pepe Carvalho series, the last of which, Milenio, is ready for publication. A sad day for Spanish letters.
