I've just finished an old Gold Medal, Robert Colby's The Star Trap, which qualifies. Harry Whittington's Don't Speak to Strange Girls is set in the right milieu but I'm not sure you could classify it as noir/hb. Elmore Leonard's Get Shorty. Willeford's The Woman Chaser. Al mentioned William Campbell Gault's Death in Focus, which I read recently.I'm sure there are plenty more.
