I bought a copy of Roger Torrey's novel
_42 Days For Murder_ (1938) reissued by Dennis McMillan
(1988).
The back cover, in part, reads: "_42_ was the only novel
published by _Black Mask_ writer Roger Torrey during his
lifetime. Torrey was one of the "mystery men" (along with
Paul Cain and several others) in that very little is known
about his life . . ."
Has anyone else read this work, and is it representative of
good _Black Mask_ writing?
