Mario, Thanks for your interest. French translation? Not much
in fact. For the moment there are one or two French
translations of novels by Natsuo Kirino, but more of the
suspense type than really noir. I did not find any other
Japanese author named in the article having books recently
translated into French.
Japanese mysteries translated in France are most of the time
of the mainstream type, mainly whodunits. I think it's the
same with the American market for the time being.
