The Dupont Circle store is still there, but it has few mysteries, far better on straight fiction. The place to go is still their warehouse in Rockville, MD, which is still open to the public. And they do now alphabetize their good selection of mystery paperbacks, many out of print. The hardbacks in the general area are pretty disorganized, probably sorted by time they came in. However, if you go there, know that the seriously collectible mysteries are kept separate in their own room. You have to ask to see them.

Now if you've got a car and some time, the other place to go is Wonder Books out in Frederick, MD.
