Thanks, Al. I've been intending to buy more Brookmyre, and I'll make that the first. (The _New Yorker_ had a feature story some time back on Aberdeen as a stodgy city inflicted/blessed with the North Sea oil boom.) Joy, finding _Exile_ more wrenching than Mina #1
