Jim, I've read the first two in the Swanson series but not that (It's in my ever growing tbr pile while looking for the previous book, 96 Tears). I like him. I would compare him to Pete Hautman or a non- grotesque Hiaasen. That would not be considered hard boiled by some on this list. Mark
