I just started _Briarpatch_ by Ross Thomas, my first foray
into his body of work. Heard good things about his writing
style.
The movie _Deliverance_ could be good as the James Dickey
novel, IMHO. Dickey taught at my university for a couple
semesters. Interesting person/novelist/poet.
