Well, there's a *non-early* cover (non thumbnail too!),
specifically Stanley Meltzoff's cover for the 1957 Perma
edition (Perma M3074) showg a stripping Brigid O'Shaugnessy

Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of Leo Manso's 1944 cover
(Pocket Book 268) online, which I imagine is exactly what
you're looking for (it's the one with the hands reaching
toward the bird).
