Wow, Al, wotta haul! I have a couple of comments:
Norbert Fagan apparently wrote two Gold Medal books and
disappeared. I've been trying for years to find out if that's
a pen name. He was a forefunner of Dick Francis, and well
worth reading. I like Vin Packer (though some don't, I hear).
THE GIRL ON THE BEST SELLER LIST is loosely based on what
might have happened if someone had murdered Grace Metalious
(author of PEYTON PLACE), and the cover picture even
resembles the famous cover photo of Metalious. I think all of
Richard Wormser's Gold Medal books are good, and I like DRIVE
EAST ON 66 quite a bit. All the other books you got are
equally good. It would be hard to pick one to begin reading
from that batch. Just reach in, grab one, and start.
